Gregory Johnson creates modern stainless steel sculpture for homes, businesses, and public spaces across the United States and abroad. Working primarily in 316L stainless steel, Johnson's sculptures are known for their fluid, curved forms — pieces that appear to move even while standing still. From compact tabletop works under 30 inches to monumental public installations exceeding 100 inches, each sculpture is designed and fabricated by hand in his Georgia studio.

Johnson's work spans a wide range of settings. Collectors display smaller pieces in homes and offices, while larger works are commissioned for corporate campuses, medical centers, universities, parks, and civic plazas. His sculptures currently reside in more than 1,500 collections across 44 states and seven countries, including public art installations, museum collections, and private residences.

What sets Johnson's sculpture apart is the combination of contemporary form with material versatility. Standard pieces are finished in brushed or mirrored stainless steel, while a separate line of powder-coated works introduces bold color into the same sculptural language. Every piece — whether a small abstract form or a 30-foot public monument — is built to withstand outdoor exposure without losing its finish, making his work as suited to a courtyard or coastal installation as it is to an interior lobby.

Browse the galleries by size to find the right scale for your space, from small stainless steel sculptures suited to a desk or shelf, through mid- and large-size works for interiors and gardens, up to monumental public art commissions. Custom and commissioned work is available at every scale — Gregory Johnson works directly with collectors, designers, architects, and public art committees to design a piece specific to the site, budget, and vision.
